Blogging Tips

Here are some tips for teachers who want to use blogs in the classroom.
* Teachers need to keep a close eye on their students when they are creating blogs in the classroom. There is so much stuff on the internet that teachers need to make sure their students don't get into trouble.
* Blogs are good for students when they check other's blogs to learn more about the material being taught.
*When you have students creating blogs have a purpose for them and make sure they follow the rubric. For example, if you want spelling and grammar to be important in their posts, monitor that.
* Have a set of rules and consequences so that when students are working on their blog they know now to get on email, facebook, etc.
